I should update this
I’m Andy and making stuff is my jam. Sometimes I mess around with electronics, others I get my hands dirty in the kitchen. I like to code and design things. I’m a 3d printing nerd. I build robots, mechanical keyboards and funky light displays using rgb leds and the WLED firmware. I’m big on Home Automation with HomeAssistant and make custom sensors and stuff using ESPHome. For a while I ran AmsterJam (The Raspberry Pi Jam for Amsterdam). I might bring that back one day.
I’m British but have been expatting in Amsterdam, The Netherlands for the past 13 years. When I’m not making stuff in my tiny little cupboard you’ll find me hanging out with my three boys, Jack, Harry and Tobias and my long-suffering wife, Steph. We love to travel.
By day I’m a UX Design Manager at a major global travel company. I love solving problems and I love people. I just wish it involved more 3d printing.
