+ You talk to your pet hamsters like they’re real people – and have conversations with them

+ You reminisce about tracks you listened to as a kid and then download them from iTunes (Duran Duran anyone?)

+ Ditto for TV shows (I just spent an hour watching transformers!)

+ You turn down the heating and where warmer clothes instead – too save money.

+ You start drinking home made shandy instead of drinking straight beer.

+ You grow a beard

+ You start keeping your pens in a pot rather than leaving them all over your desk.

+ You go to a pub and it’s full of kids

+ You start being sensible with money

That’s right ladies and gentlemen – I’m starting to feel like an old man! I don’t know if it’s just because I turned 25 a couple of weeks back (next stop 30!) or if it’s just because I’ve been away from work for a while and not been mingling with the young un’s – either-way, I’m starting to realise that I’m not a kid anymore! I have proper bills like electric, gas and council tax, a responsible job and most of my recent conversations have been about ‘the future’ or ‘the past’ rather than ‘now’.

Please… kill me now before the grey hairs, kids, proper shoes and sensible cars destroy my inner child!
